Considering most religions buy into this notion, you can see how loose the definition of lying has become when you look at all the bullshit sold as reality on a daily basis.
Here is a great example, I was doing some searching to see if there where any Titanium framed mountain bikes on Gumtree and I was surprised to see the number of results particularly for Cars & Bakkies. Titanium is as expensive and painful material to work with so it is very rare to find components made from it in everyday life but apparently 512 results on Gumtree means I am wrong.
Ford’s marketing department has found Titanium sells, we have EcoSport, Fiesta, Figo & Kuga Titanium. Ford Titanium just means the upper end trim spec and not that any Titanium is actually used in the making of your Ford.
