Sony VPL-AW15 replacement lamp

The bulb in the Sony VPL-AW15 is a model HSCR165Y11H bulb. This is made by Iwasaki Electric Company and is rated at 165W.

You could simply replace the bulb rather than the entire lamp unit but very often when the bulb “pops” it will do damage to the lamp lens which will mean the lens is more likely to fail in future.

The replacement lamp is part number LMP-H160
